One of the most popular shows on Netflix, Spartacus was produced in New Zealand, and in the main role, it originally had Andy Whitfield, who eventually was replaced by Liam McIntyre. Created by Roland Moore, Land Girls has Summer Strallen, Christine Bottomley, Jo Woodcock, and Becci Gemmell in the cast. Vikings, another of the best war TV shows, is a historical drama created and written by Michael Hirst. In the main role is Travis Fimmel. 10. Generation Kill
An American miniseries, Generation Kill is based upon a 2004 book by the same name written by Evan Wright.The series depicts his experience as a reporter during the Invasion of Iraq in 2003 when he was with the United States Marine Corps’ 1st Reconnaissance Battalion. 11. The Time In Between
A Spanish TV show, The Time In Between is a drama based upon a book by the same name written by María Dueñas. It follows a young Spanish girl who meets a guy and, with him, moves to Morocco, where she works as a spy for England during the Second World War. 12. Five Came Back
Five Came Back is another Netflix documentary that was released in 2017, and it is based on a book by the same name released in 2014. Of Norwegian origins, Nobel is a show that was released in 2016. It is directed by Per-Olav Sørensen and written by Mette M. Bølstad and Stephen Uhlander. When NATO and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs mandate that a military team gets into action during the Afghan war, they find themselves stuck in a political conspiracy that puts their family’s lives at stake.
